Can't pop round
to help Mum or Dad?
I can.

You're welcome to get in touch on someone else's behalf. I'll visit, work through things patiently and help them feel more comfortable.

Does your dad miss watching his team play in his care home? I can help set up his TV and programmes, and make the controls feel familiar.

With their permission, I'll email you afterwards with what we did, anything to watch and the next steps.

A little help.
A thoughtful gift.

Sometimes the best present is a bit of patience and something finally working.

Ask about a gift voucher for a parent or someone you care about. We can talk through what would help them most.

Hello,
I'm David.

A bit of patience.
A genuine interest in helping.

I enjoy figuring things out. Technology has long been a hobby, but the part I like most is helping someone feel comfortable using it.

Helping my own dad, both at home and in a care home, showed me how much the little things matter. Staying in touch. Finding a favourite programme. Feeling confident enough to have a go.

You don't have to be good with technology. That's what I'm here for.

I'll explain things in everyday words, give you time to ask questions and go over them again if you need me to.

There's no rush to keep up, and no need to feel embarrassed. We'll work it out together.

A friendly chat.
A clear next step.

No prices to puzzle over. We'll talk first, so you know what's involved before you decide.

  1. A free 5-minute chat

Tell me what's happening. We'll work out whether it's something I can help with.

  2. Your written quote

I'll send the price after our chat. It won't change unless you ask me to do more.

  3. A visit, at your pace

I'll come to your home, sort things out and explain each step in plain English.

  4. Someone to ask

Still stuck a few days later? Just give me a ring. You don't have to figure it out alone.

You might
be wondering.

Getting help should feel simple.
Here are a few useful things to know.

How much will it cost?

Every job is different, so we'll start with a free 5-minute chat. Afterwards, I'll send you a written quote. You'll know the cost before I start, and it won't change unless you ask me to do more.

Do I need to know anything about technology?

Not at all. You don't need technical words or any previous experience. Tell me what you'd like to do, and we'll take it one step at a time.

Which areas do you cover?

I'm based in Chinnor and visit homes in Chinnor, Thame and nearby villages. A bit further out? Just ask.

Can I arrange help for someone else?

Yes. Relatives, friends and carers are welcome to get in touch. I can visit at home or in a care home and, with the person's permission, email you an update afterwards.

Do you drill or fit equipment to walls?

No. I help set things up and show you how to use them. I don't do drilling, wall mounting or physical installation.

Can you come out for an emergency repair?

Visits are arranged in advance. I don't offer urgent or emergency repair visits.

Can you help with my phone's safety features?

I can help you understand and set up features already on your phone or watch, such as fall alerts, emergency contacts and reminders. These features don't replace personal care or emergency services.

What if I'm still stuck afterwards?

Still stuck a few days later? Just give me a ring. It's always OK to ask another question.

Let's start with a conversation

What's got
you puzzled?

Tell me a little about it and we'll arrange a free 5-minute chat. No pressure, and no need to know the technical details.
